NEW YORK (Pro News): Police have gotten a man in a Brooklyn shooting that killed a Department of Education delegate.
The event happened in the Flatlands part of the ward, around the corner from a school.

Police charged 19-year-old Javier Oates of Brooklyn. They blamed him for manslaughter, criminal commitment concerning a weapon, and criminal firearm.
