ISLAMABAD (Pro news): Fast bowler of Pakistan, Muhammad Hasnain, has replaced the hurt Shaheen Shah Afridi for the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mohammad Hasnain, who is 22 years old, returned to cricket in June directly following remodeling his bowling movement.
PCB suspended him in February for being called by umpires during the BBL.
About Hasnain’s recent achievements
Hasnain has made predictable progress, playing 18 T20Is for his country and 17 wickets.
He has also secured endorsement abroad with spells in the Big Bash League, the Caribbean Premier League, English locale cricket, and the Hundred, where he is now playing for the Oval Invincibles.
The young boy has a hat trick in T20Is.
Why is Afridi out of the Asia cup?
Afridi was fundamental for the ODI group in the victory over the Netherlands – but didn’t play any of the three games.
He had a ligament injury during the first test match against the Sri Lanka team.
Afridi was controlled out of the Asia Cup and from the next month’s seven-match T20 series against England after experts urged him to rest for four to six weeks to recover from a knee injury.
He faces a trial of expertise and perseverance to be great for the T20 World Cup in October.
Position of Pakistan in Asia cup
Pakistan will begin its Asia Cup campaign on August 28 against India.
Pakistan is in Group A along with archrival India in Dubai.
Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group B, with the two gatherings going through the Super 4 stage.
