Chris Evans Discusses his role in “Ghosted” in his own words: It’s Adorable

Chris Evans spoke candidly about his part in the new movie Ghosted, his experience playing the character, and working with Ana de Armas again.

Details

The pair shared a scene in Rian Johnson’s 2019 movie Knives Out. They later collaborated on the 2022 Netflix action thriller The Gray Man.

The 2023 movie Ghosted will be different for both Evans and de Armas.

Evans remarked, “Whatever Ana’s doing, I want at least one day on set,” during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight to discuss the Apple TV+ rom-com.

About the film Ghosted

Evans plays Cole, a vulnerable man ghosted by a girl named Sadie, played by Ana de Armas, after going on a date with her. Rocketman’s Dexter Fletcher Ghosted directed this movie.

It transpires that Sadie is a covert spy, and in Cole’s pursuit of her, he finds himself thrust into a global crisis.

Chris Evans explained his character

He continued to discuss his feelings regarding the character. “It just seemed like something I watched growing up.”

It was cute and sweet, and it depended on the chemistry between the characters, he continued, likening it to Romancing the Stone.

In contrast to his pre-MCU performances in rom-coms like What’s Your Number? and The Nanny Diaries, Evans stated of portraying Cole, “It’s nice to play someone who has not only far fewer capabilities than someone like Captain America but in moments of panic has a human reaction.”

“You know, nothing about Cole is cool. He disintegrates, but it’s cute. The game is entertaining, he said.
