Pak vs. Eng: England won the first T20I against Pakistan by six wickets

KARACHI (Pro News): A new-look England flank carried the opening Twenty20 by six wickets in Karachi on Tuesday, capping their re-appearance in Pakistan following 17 years in a focal way.

England took a 1-0 lead in the seven-match T20I series.

They got the sounder of hosts Pakistan in the central T20I by six wickets.

A new live presentation from Alex Hales and Luke Wood saw the English side home as the past wrapped up with 53 runs off 40 deliveries while the last choice scalped three wickets for 24.

England made a horrible start to their innings after Philip Salt in the third over as Shahnawaz Da-hani scalped him for 10.

Alex Hales would resume holding one end as he handled the innings close by Dawid Malan (20) and Ben Duckett (21).

Pakistani bowler cleared Hales in the seventeenth over before supervisor Moeen Ali.

Harry Brook caught England home.

While Ali stayed unbeaten on 7, Brook scored 42 out of 25 vehicles as the travelers won the test by four balls in overabundance.

For Pakistan, Usman Qadir scalped two wickets for 36, yet was exorbitant.

Naseem Shah had an off day offering 41 runs in four overs.

Opener Mohammad Rizwan happened with his marvelous batting structure with a bewildering 46-ball 68 to take Pakistan to 158-7 in the exceptionally Twenty20 cricket.

Rizwan beat six cutoff points and two sixes and put 85 for the crucial wicket with skipper Babar Azam (31) after England prevailed over the toss and fielded.

England debutant paceman Luke Wood devoured 3-24, while spinner Adil Rashid grabbed 2-27.

About Pak vs. Eng series

Focusing on the next month’s T20 World Cup, the different sides expect to entice first blood.

The pilgrim will play four of the seven matches in Karachi on September 20, 22, 23, and 25 and the abundance three at the Gaddafi Field in Lahore on September 28, 30, and October 2.

England skipper Jos Buttler cannot play any of the four matches in Karachi.
