Grant Bradburn, the head coach of the Pakistan cricket team, has provided his opinion on how New Zealand was able to tie the T20I series against his squad.

The 56-year-old referred to Pakistan’s ingrained practices of failing to work as a team and depending instead on individual efforts to dig themselves out of any jam.
The team has already heard Mickey [Arthur], and I spoke to them several times; we have motivated and enthused them to believe we have the unit. However, we already have a team of champions and do not yet have a champion squad. That’s why we want to build a strong team, according to Bradburn.

He continued by saying that the players must accept that they are not yet at the level they want to be after Pakistan’s defeat to New Zealand in the fifth T20I.

Bradburn demanded self-confidence from the team
The players will have our full support, but we expect them to lift themselves and improve. We must recognize the type of game we must play in the Asia Cup and World Cup if we want to avoid placing second and moving backwards if we bring the one that has been successful for us over the past two or three years. He continued, “We need to adjust to that very quickly.”
