Prohibited funding case: Imran Khan snubs FIA over notice

ISLAMABAD (Pro news): PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to recover the notice delivered to him in the prohibited funding case in two days. Otherwise, he would take legal action against them.

Response of Imran Khan

PTI chief replied,

“Neither am I liable to offer all due appreciation to you nor is it committed to giving information to you. 

If they did not recover notice in two days, then, at that point, I will take legitimate action against you,”

The PTI manager sent the response through his legitimate guidance Anwar Mansoor Khan. 

PTI chief also declared that the FIA showed a poisonous arrangement, adding that it was not inside the FIA’s area to see nuances and reports from PTI. 

“ECP (Election Commission of Pakistan) didn’t give a decision anyway given a report. ECP can’t structure FIA or another relationship considering this report,” said the PTI chief. He added that the FIA does not act under the Political Parties Order 2002.

Country-wide inquiry by FIA

Last week, the FIA searched for records from Imran Khan concerning the total resources provided by open and overall associations and business firms. 

The FIA shipped off a broad examination concerning the matter.

Points of the inquiry team

• The FIA asked Imran to provide the record of the membership charge from the groundwork of PTI till now.

• The investigation office searched for yearly declarations of PTI’s monetary equilibriums beginning around 1996, the record of its joined-up and unregistered affiliations and trusts from the party’s chief.

• Imran was drawn closer to give the record of PTI’s public and overall donors.

• The FIA also directed the PTI executive to give details of funds from various associations in different countries.

In the meantime, investigation associations have decided to widen the trial of PTI denied sponsoring the abroad, referring to sources neighbourhood media gave insights about Wednesday.

The investigation association has opened demands simultaneously in critical metropolitan areas of Pakistan, including government capital Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Karachi.
